Your whole library, offline

Tunefold finds the songs on your phone and sorts them into songs, albums, artists and folders. Search by title, artist or album; accents and capital letters don't matter.

Playlists and smart lists

Make your own playlists, and let Favorites, Recently added, Recently played and Most played fill themselves. Play next and Add to queue work from any song.

Equalizer and bass boost

Ten presets, from Bass to Vocal, or set each band yourself. Playback speed from 0.5x to 2x for long tracks and practice.

Background play and sleep timer

Keep listening with the screen off, with controls in the notification, on the lock screen and on headphones. The sleep timer fades the music out when you drift off.

Your files stay yours

Tunefold has no account, no analytics and no ads. It reads the music files on your phone to build your library, and it never uploads anything.

Questions

Is Tunefold free?

Yes. Tunefold is free, there is no account to create, and this version has no ads.

Does it need an internet connection?

No. Tunefold plays music files that are saved on your phone, so it works on a plane, underground or with mobile data turned off. It has no internet features at all.

Which music files can it play?

Common audio files such as MP3, M4A (AAC), FLAC, OGG, Opus and WAV, from any folder Android shows in its music library, including Music, Download and a memory card. Files locked to a streaming service can only be played in that service's app.

Why don't I see all my songs?

Check that Tunefold is allowed to access music and audio. By default it also hides clips shorter than 30 seconds, such as voice notes and ringtones; change this in Settings > Hide short audio. New files can take a moment to appear, and Settings > Rescan music looks again straight away.

Does it have an equalizer and a sleep timer?

Yes. The equalizer has 10 presets, your own custom bands and bass boost, using your phone's built-in sound effects. The sleep timer stops the music after 5 to 90 minutes, or at the end of the current song, fading it out gently.

Which phones and languages does it support?

Android 8.0 or newer. The app is in English, French, Hindi and Vietnamese.
